Exercise and diet are both essential aspects of daily life, but for children, exercise holds even greater importance. The absence of exercise can result in the following detrimental effects on children's daily lives.

(1) Sleep Deprivation: A lack of exercise can lead to sleep deprivation, which in turn can cause depression and trigger overeating. Children who lack sufficient sleep during the night exhibit reduced daytime enthusiasm, preventing them from engaging in necessary daily activities, thus failing to eliminate fatigue and restore energy.

(2) Image Deterioration: Self-image influences one's posture, gaze, and actions, often determining how a person presents themselves and how they are eventually accepted by peers. A lack of exercise can make children sluggish, and even if they are not overweight, they may feel physically inadequate. Such children may suffer from low self-esteem, affecting their interactions with peers.

(3) Misconceptions: Some children erroneously believe that having a slim physique and attractive appearance will garner higher social evaluations. In reality, well-exercised children appear healthier and exhibit more intelligent behavior, attracting greater attention from others.

(4) Obesity and its Complications: As a child's body gradually becomes obese, their daily activities can become exhausting, leading to unhappiness and eventually undesirable behaviors. Obese children are often overlooked, bear a heavy psychological burden, and display listlessness, physical weakness, and emotional lows. Obesity places a heavy burden on the respiratory system and harms the heart.

(5) Reduced Immunity: A lack of exercise weakens the body over time, lowering immunity and making children more susceptible to infections. Frequent illnesses can lead to missed school days or inattentiveness in class, affecting their ability to concentrate and complete assignments.

(6) Motor Skill Deficits: If children lack exercise during crucial stages of growth and development, their motor skills may develop slowly, and hand-eye coordination might be impaired. Despite wanting to catch up with peers, they might lose confidence due to their physical limitations. Conversely, actively participating in exercise, engaging in activities with classmates, and improving physical fitness can enhance self-esteem and garner respect from peers, making them healthy both physically and mentally.
