Studies reveal that merely 14% of China's population engages in regular physical exercise, with urban inhabitants accounting for 24.6%, while rural residents comprise only 10%. An irregular lifestyle disrupts the body's biological rhythms, weakens immune systems, heightens disease occurrence rates, and is unequivocally detrimental to health. Hence, a disciplined routine, timely rest, and sufficient sleep are crucial. One should avoid tea or coffee before bedtime, refrain from overeating, maintain emotional equanimity, avoid anxiety or agitation, and steer clear of vigorous exercise.
An unhealthy lifestyle drains energy, fosters fatigue, elevates susceptibility to illnesses, and compromises both lifespan and quality of life. Health officials from the Ministry of Health have commented that the forthcoming two decades are pivotal for improving the health of Chinese citizens. Without appropriate intervention, the health status of the population is poised to deteriorate further. Poor health and disease among the populace hinder national economic and social development.
