yoga: Single Leg Prayer Pose

This pose strengthens the leg muscles and ankles, massages the hips, improves leg alignment, enhances body balance, and control, and helps prevent varicose veins and shoulder issues.

1. Stand with feet together.

● Stand on the Yoga Mat with feet naturally together, keep the back straight, and place hands on both sides of the body, look straight ahead.

2. Shift the weight, lift the right foot.

● Shift the weight to the left foot, lift the right foot. Use the right hand to hold the right ankle and place the sole of the right foot against the inner thigh of the left leg.

3. Bring both hands to prayer position in front of the chest.

● Maintain balance, keep the posture unchanged, bring both hands together in prayer position in front of the chest, gaze straight ahead. Hold for 30 seconds.

4. Raise both arms to maintain balance.

● Slowly raise both arms above the head, breathe naturally, hold for 30 seconds. Slowly lower both arms back to the chest, release the right foot, switch legs, and repeat the exercise.
