Step-by-Step Guide

1 Lie on your right side, keeping your body in a straight line. Bend your right arm, placing the right upper arm on the ground, and raise your right hand. Rest your head on your right palm, and place your left hand in front of your navel on the ground. Keep your toes pointed and maintain body balance.

2 Inhale, slowly lift your left leg as high as comfortable, keeping your toes pointed. Hold the position for 10 seconds.

3 Take a deep breath, gradually bend your left leg, and simultaneously reach out with your left hand to grab your left foot's big toe.

Switch Legs and Repeat

4 Hold your left foot's big toe with your left hand, bringing your left leg as close to your head as possible while keeping it straight. Maintain the pose for 5 to 6 breaths. Exhale, lower your leg, return to the initial position, and relax your body. Repeat the same sequence with the other leg.

If you find it challenging to lift your leg towards your head with your arms alone, you can use a yoga strap to loop around your foot. Hold both ends of the strap with your left hand and use it to gently guide your leg towards your head, reducing the difficulty of the pose.
