Yoga Before Bed: Prone Pose
yoga Before Bed: Prone Pose
This set of movements can help prevent or alleviate the pressure on the lumbar spine when lying on the side, and also aids in relaxation. Many people do these exercises and unknowingly fall asleep, so it's important to stay warm.
1. Lie Prone, Slightly Separate the Feet
● Lie face down on the bed, place the hands on both sides of the body with palms facing up, and slightly separate the feet.
2. Extend Both Arms to the Sides
● Extend both hands out to the sides at shoulder level.
3. Bend Both Arms and Cross the Hands
● Cross both hands and place them under the chin.
4. Slightly Bend One Leg and Slightly Twist the Body
● Bend the right knee to a comfortable angle, turn the face to the right side, close your eyes, and relax. Repeat the movement with the other leg in the opposite direction.
