Partner Acro yoga

During individual forward bends and leg stretches, it is common to arch the back or struggle to reach the feet. In partner practice, progress can be accelerated, and incorrect postures can be corrected. The person on top can relieve tension in the lower back, while the person on the bottom can experience gentle weight reduction. Safety should be emphasized during the practice, and only push to the extent that both partners can comfortably endure.

1. Back-to-Back Seated Position (AB)

● Both partners sit back-to-back on the Yoga Mat, maintaining an upright posture with their backs fully connected. Legs are extended, and hands rest on their thighs.

2. One Person Reclining, One Person Forward Bending

● Partner A reclines slowly, while Partner B leans forward gently.

3. A Supports with Hands, Pressing Down on B

● Partner A places both hands on the ground and bends the knees, then slowly presses down on Partner B. Partner B holds onto their feet, bringing the waist and abdomen closer to the thighs.

4. A Extends Arms Upwards

● Partner A bends the knees, extends both arms towards Partner B's feet, and lies flat on top of them.

5. B Ensures Full Contact between Upper Body and Thighs

● Partner A stretches both arms and legs straight, and Partner B fully lies on their thighs. Both partners relax, allowing for a complete stretch, pausing for a moment.

6. AB Practice Position Exchange

● Partners A and B switch positions, repeating the above movements.
